Marlyn Sasson
Marlyn was born in Cuba and went on to spend her childhood in Guatemala. In her teenage years she came to Miami, Florida. Her interest in art began to take flight during this time of her life. It was not, however, until she began receiving various accolades for her artwork in high school, that she began to really embrace her potential. After gaining acceptance in the prestigious parsons school of design in New York City, Marlyn learned to hone her skills and focus on the technique that would become her artistic signature. She began working in fashion and jewelry design as an entrepreneur for several years before settling into painting. Though her love for all things artistic was evident, it was painting that would provide a broad enough stage for full self expression. Marlyn's artwork consists of 3-d designs through textured & elevated forms. Most of her works are finished in acrylic medium.
